Nature’s Reflection is committed to reflecting back to humanity the dimensionless beauty of the natural world and revealing the threats we impose on its sustainability through unsolicited, unrelenting, and partly unconscious global change in the 21st century. Nature’s Reflection uses visual imagery as a vital element of education programs, presentations, and workshops that serve local, regional, or international forums to promote conscious, sustainable lifestyles and choices.

Underlying Nature’s Reflection imagery is a passion to capture moments in time that represent earth’s dynamic cultural and natural landscape, ensuring the dance of light and life continue unabated and that the source of humanity’s sustenance is preserved and revered for future generations. On field assignments, Nature’s Reflection strives to hold captive the tension between light and shadow, the dance of weather across time, relationships among vital elements, and the vibration of the living landscape in a single, unique moment. Optimally, form, mood, energy, and color then blend to become timeless art that imprints the ephemeral reality of existence on grains of silver. Such images present themselves as gifts to the observer who quiets the ego and becomes as an open vessel for nature’s honest reflection. Only then will images go beyond communicating the relationship of the artist to the land and begin to express the relationship of the land to the artist.
